چکیده
Background: In an effort to address the growing need for more aesthetic appliances, ceramic brackets were introduced into orthodontics. The and less obvious appliances has risen as a result of adult orthodontic therapy. Aim: To assess shear bond strength Clarity Transcend 6000 well bracket breakdown mechanism while utilising force with Schimadzu testing equipment, information from this study will be useful participants practitioners. Methodology: This comparative was conducted at Orthodontic Department, Bacha Khan College Dentistry, Mardan 1st July 2021 31st December 2022. A total 150 (75 reinforced 75 conventional in each cluster) enrolled. first premolar teeth that had been pulled their entirety treatment chosen bonded. Only maxillary undamaged surfaces recently removed preserved used. Premolars broken down or decayed eliminated. Result: There no statistically significant difference amongst two evaluated, according independent t-test associating clarity transcends brackets. Conclusion: differences adhesive remnant index ratings forte between negligible. Key words: Adhesive (ARI), De-bonding, Shear

Shear bond strength of ceramic brackets with various base designs bonded to aluminous and fluorapatite ceramics.
This study was conducted to evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) of various ceramic bracket base designs bonded to glazed aluminous (Vitadur Alpha) and fluorapatite (IPS e.max Ceram) ceramics, to examine the mode of failure, and to determine the debonding characteristics of the brackets and the ceramic surfaces after bond failure. Forty ceramic discs (15 mm in diameter and 1.5 mm thick) of ea...

The aims of this study were to evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) of metal and ceramic brackets bonded to two different all-ceramic crowns, IPS Empress 2 and In-Ceram Alumina, to compare the SBS between hydrofluoric acid (HFA), phosphoric acid etched, and sandblasted, non-etched all-ceramic surfaces. Ninety-six all-ceramic crowns were fabricated resembling a maxillary left first premolar. T...
متن کاملShear Bond Strength of Metal brackets to Zirconia Treated with Er:YAG Laser Sandblasting and Silane
Background and Aim: Application of zirconia ceramics has increased. Since the commonly used surface treatment for porcelain, i.e. acid etching is not efficient for zirconia surfaces, evaluation of other surface treatment methods for zirconia is important. The aim of this study was to compare the shear bond strength (SBS) of metal brackets to zirconia treated with different powers of Er:YAG lase...

AIM This study has compared the Shear Bond Strengths (SBSs) of ceramic brackets and metal brackets. MATERIALS AND METHOD Forty freshly extracted, human maxillary first premolars were selected for bonding. They were equally bonded with ceramic brackets (Transcend series 6000) and metal brackets (Mini Dynalock Straight wire brackets). A no - mix orthodontic adhesive system was used. Their shear...
